Ashtanga Yoga Practice is a dynamic and disciplined form of yoga that follows a sequence of postures connected by breath (Vinyasa). It is a practice that strengthens and purifies the body and mind and builds flexibility, stamina, strength, and mental focus when practiced regularly.
Students will learn in Ashtanga asana practice:

Vinyasa Flow Sequences is the creative and fluid style of yoga in which movement is linked to breath. This style promotes both strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness while allowing freedom, rhythm, and awareness into each sequence.
Students will learn in Vinyasa flow practice:

Medicines or Supplements:
- Make sure to bring a basic first-aid kit and other regular medications if needed, such as vitamins, etc.
- Yoga Schools usually offer Sattvic vegetarian meals. If you are not used to a completely vegetarian meal, we recommend carrying your supplements or multivitamins. In addition, carry your supply of prescription medicines, medicines for allergies, flu, muscle pains or even eye drops for dryness.
Other Essential items:
- As you are traveling from outside of India, be sure to pack the laptop or mobile power adaptor from your country
- Bring a reusable bottle with you to stay hydrated during the travel
Note- Attendance in all classes is compulsory. Excused leave can be taken only for illness or actual emergencies and must be approved in advance by the respective teacher. Absence without prior notice will not be accepted and can have a detrimental impact on the student’s monthly performance and overall evaluation.
Ashtanga Yoga

Extra emphasis is placed on food. You would receive a decent breakfast and lunch, and then dinner. These will be vegetarian, and the emphasis is on good-quality nutritional ingredients. The food would be catered with fresh fruit, salad, and healthful drinks. You can also easily choose the gluten-free foods that you want. It would be as per the requirements of aspirants.
Please be aware that you need to let us know well in advance which options you prefer.

Note: All classes are mandatory only in case of an emergency or illness one can take leave with respected teacher permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted and this will leave bad impression on student monthly performance.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites for Atha Yoga Sadhana: A genuine interest in traditional yoga and a readiness to commit to a disciplined yogic lifestyle. Some yoga experience is useful but not necessary. The student must: Be fit, both physically and mentally, for daily practices. Possess an open mind to learning, demonstrate respect for the teachers Pledge regular attendance, demonstrate self-discipline, and desire personal growth over the duration of the course.

Rules for Students
To maintain a peaceful, disciplined, and supportive learning environment, all students are expected to follow some rules. Let us discuss those rules:-
- The students must always respect their gurus and must maintain rules and regulations.
- There is no smoking or drinking rule on the campus.
- Anything that has been borrowed must be duly returned, and that too in time.
- Full attendance is expected in all scheduled programs.
- The kitchen manager must be informed if there is any other plan and the food is not required for any particular day.
- Class timings are very strict, and all students must maintain punctuality.
- Accommodation will be provided only to students and staff.
Refund Policy
- Advance payment is non-refundable. If there is an unfortunate event substitute class will be provided later.
- You can cancel your course at any point in time, but the deposited money shall not be refunded.
- There is no extra charge for cancellation. All one needs to do is inform the authorities. But as mentioned, the fees shall not be refunded.

Jolly Grant Airport, about 25 km from Rishikesh, has daily flights from Delhi. We can arrange a cab from the airport to our school for an additional fee.
Daily trains connect Delhi to Haridwar railway station. Upon arriving at Haridwar Railway Station, we can organize a pickup for you at a reasonable charge.
We can also arrange a convenient cab pickup from Delhi to our school in Rishikesh for a reasonable fee.
